About

I have been photographing since 2007, and my work grows from a deep connection with landscape and people. To me, an image is a way of interpreting the world: I look for the moment when light, place and emotion meet and the photo tells a story of its own.

Much of my work happens in Chile, where today I am especially drawn to forests, lakes, mountains and coastlines. In portraiture, which has taken me across India, I look for the gaze that says more than a face.

I work in colour and in black and white, depending on what each scene asks for. To photograph is to observe and keep what, even if it lasts only a few seconds, deserves to remain.

And yes, I shoot Nikon.
